Black Ivy Collegiate Apparel

Black Ivy Collegiate Apparel was founded by Brittany Powell in the year of 2014. The company was birth from her love for Historical Black Colleges and Universities. Brittany’s desire to see education lifted up in the black community as cornerstone for black wealth and empowerment.

She is a graduate of Spelman College with a B.A in Political Science. Also, Brittany has a Master of Divinity Degree from the Morehouse School of Religion at the Interdenominational Theological Center. Brittany’s hope for starting this company was to produce a clothing line that will empower a people to seek higher education. 

Black Ivy Collegiate Apparel has made a commitment to grant scholarships for entering and matriculating students of HBCUs through Black Ivy scholars’ program. Black Ivy is not just a clothing line but a movement promoting higher education.
